At Atticus Planning, we can undertake specialist land and property appraisals and advise on the development potential of your property or land.

As part of providing property appraisals, we will often undertake a site visit, review all available planning history and any other background information, research relevant planning policies and legislation (including any available permitted development rights), and look into any other technical constraints applicable to the site. A written report will then be produced which summarises all of the above and advises on what type of development or use could achieve planning permission and what the prospects of success would be. It will also provide key recommendations on what steps should be taken prior to submitting a planning application and what the most appropriate type of planning application would be; if you are simply looking to increase the value of your land, either outline planning permission or principle in principle may be the best route.

If the development potential of your property or land is concluded to be low, we may provide a strategic, longer-term planning strategy, which could include promoting the site through the development plan process and us making development plan representations on your behalf.

Our land and property appraisal specialists are committed to providing honest and impartial advice. If we, therefore, feel that following our development appraisal there is very little prospect of achieving planning permission on your property or land for alternative development or use, we will tell you.
